I. How do we collect your personal data?
BICF collects and processes your personal data obtained in connection with the conclusion of a contract and/or included in any written correspondence (via BICF e-mail addresses, by fax, and/or via the contact box on the website), as well as via telephone calls, if such electronic correspondence and/or telephone call contains personal data.
II. Purpose of processing. Categories of personal data processed. Legal basis of the processing
In your interactions with BICF, you may be a data subject with respect to your personal data that we process. Minors under the age of 18 may not provide BICF with personal data without the consent of their parents or legal representative.
As part of our day-to-day activities, we may process your personal data as follows:
1. Customer/potential customer of BICF individuals
1.1. Processing purposes
BICF may process your personal data detailed in point 1.2 below for the following purposes:
(i) initiating the steps necessary to enter into a contract and/or the performance and/or execution of a contract entered into between BICF and you; and/or
(ii) to communicate in relation to any request and/or any matter relating to the contract entered into with you and/or in respect of which steps are being taken to enter into it.

For the purposes mentioned above, BICF may process the following categories of personal data:
(i) first and last names;
(ii) e-mail address; and/or
(ii) any other personal data that may be contained in the transmitted electronic communication (e.g. telephone number).
The provision of your personal data does not constitute a legal obligation, however, it may be necessary to initiate the necessary steps for the conclusion of a contract and/or the performance of the contract and/or for BICF to be able to deal with your request and/or communication regarding the contract.
To the extent that you do not provide us with such data, we will not be able to properly conclude and/or perform the contract with you, and/or respond to your request/communication regarding the contract.
1.3. Legal basis of processing
BICF processes the personal data referred to in point 1.2. above on the basis of Article 6 (1) lit. b) of the GDPR, i.e. for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
For the situation where the steps taken prior to the conclusion of a contract are not based on the request of the data subject, the BICF processes the personal data referred to in point 1.2. above on the basis of Article 6 (1) lit. f) of the GDPR, i.e. in order to fulfill the legitimate interest related to the possible conclusion of a contract with a potential natural person customer.
2. Representatives, contact persons, employees and/or collaborators of (i) suppliers/potential suppliers legal entities or (ii) customers/potential customers legal entities
2.1. Purposes of processing
BICF may process your personal data detailed in paragraph 2.2 below for the following purposes:
(i) initiating the steps necessary to enter into a contract and/or the performance and/or execution of the contract entered into between BICF and the entity you represent; and/or
(ii) to communicate in relation to any request and/or any matter relating to the contract entered into with the entity you represent (including any complaints and/or requests and/or communications made in the context of the performance of the contract) and/or in respect of which steps are being taken to enter into the contract.
2.2. Categories of personal data processed
For the purposes mentioned above, BICF may process the following categories of personal data:
(i) first and last names;
(ii) e-mail address; and/or
(iii) any other personal data that may be contained in the transmitted electronic communication (e.g. telephone number).
The provision and processing of personal data referred to above may be necessary for the context of the pursuit of the legitimate interests pursued by BICF with respect to:
(i) taking the necessary steps to enter into a contract and/or the performance and/or execution of a contract entered into between BICF and the entity you represent; and/or
(ii) any request and/or any matter relating to the contract entered into with the entity you represent (including any requests and/or communications made in the context of the performance of the contract) and/or in respect of which steps are being taken to enter into the contract.
2.3. Legal basis of processing
BICF processes the personal data referred to in point 2.2. above on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f) of the GDPR, namely for the purpose of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller in relation to (i) the initiation of steps necessary for the conclusion of a contract and/or the performance and/or execution of a contract concluded between BICF and the entity you represent and/or (ii) any request and/or any matter related to the contract concluded with the entity you represent (including any complaints and/or requests and/or communications made in the context of the performance of the contract) and/or in relation to which steps are taken to conclude the contract.
3. Persons applying for a vacancy in the BICF
3.1. Processing purposes
BICF may process your personal data detailed in point 3.2 below for the purpose of analyzing your CV and/or cover letter in relation to the position/job for which you are applying.
3.2. Categories of personal data processed
For the purposes mentioned above, BICF may process the following categories of personal data:
(i) identification data: name, surname, place, and date of birth, nationality; and/or
(ii) contact data: telephone number, e-mail address, fax, home/residence address; and/or
(iii) image; and/or
(iv) professional experience, studies, diplomas; and/or
(v) any other personal data that you provide voluntarily and unsolicited when submitting your CV and/or cover letter.
The provision of your personal data may be necessary for the context of the conclusion and/or execution of the individual employment/collaboration contract with BICF.
Although you are under no legal obligation to provide us with your personal data from your CV and/or cover letter, if you do not provide us with this data, we will not be able to initiate the relevant selection procedures to determine to what extent you can be part of our team or not and/or for the conclusion of the individual employment/collaboration contract with BICF.
3.3. Legal basis of processing
BICF processes the personal data referred to in point 3.2 above on the basis of Article 6 (1) lit. b) of the GDPR, i.e. for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
4. Persons submitting inquiries and/or complaints and/or any communications, by telephone and/or to the Operator’s e-mail address and/or via the contact section on the website
4.1. Purposes of processing
BICF may process your personal data detailed in point 4.2. below for the purpose of managing and/or dealing with requests and/or communications of any kind that you submit via the e-mail address, via the contact box, and/or by telephone, as well as to be able to provide responses to such requests and/or communications.
Providing your personal data for this purpose does not constitute a legal obligation, but it may be necessary for BICF to be able to handle and/or respond to requests and/or communications of any kind that you submit via e-mail, the contact section on the website, by fax or telephone, and to be able to provide responses to such requests and/or communications.

For the purposes mentioned above, BICF may process the following categories of personal data:

BICF may process your personal data detailed in 5.2 below for traffic monitoring purposes, security purposes, and to improve the use and functionality of our website.

For the purposes mentioned above, BICF may process the following categories of personal data:

5.3. Legal basis of processing
BICF may process the personal data referred to in 4.2 above on the basis of:
(i) art 6 (1) lit. a) of the GDPR, i.e. on the basis of your consent, if applicable;

III. Recipients of personal data
We may transmit your personal data to (i) BICF employees, collaborators, and/or contractors, who will have access to your personal data exclusively for the purpose of concluding/executing the contract, processing your request and/or application, and/or communication and/or your application and, if applicable, too (ii) competent public authorities and/or institutions, within the limits of the powers conferred on them by the applicable legal provisions.
We will not transfer your Personal Data or Special Data outside the EU/EEA.
IV. Updating and deleting data
BICF to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. We, therefore, request that you inform BICF of any changes to the relevant personal data. For this purpose, you can send an e-mail to office@bicf.ro.
BICF processes personal data in compliance with the GDPR principles, including the principle of data minimization and storage limitations.
To this end, we process personal data that:
(i) are adequate, relevant, and limited to the purpose for which they are processed; in this regard, BICF will only process those data provided by you that are necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose for which they are processed;
(ii) are kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed; in this respect, BICF will delete, in accordance with BICF’s internal policies, all personal data that are no longer necessary for the purposes detailed above.
V. Your rights as a data subject
Under the applicable legislation on the processing of personal data, you have the following rights with regard to the processing of your Personal Data:
(i) the right to access your Personal Data;
(ii) the right to request rectification of your Personal Data;
(iii) the right to request deletion of your Personal Data;
